Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman has been an accomplished psychologist since 1993 and Director of the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. She is well-known as the pioneer of modern-day scientific research of the memory of children as eyewitnesses and the use of child victimization in court. Professor Goodman, who has numerous research publications as well as numerous grants she is also the winner of a variety of international and national awards. She consults with numerous nations and organizations around the world on policies and research on child victimization in the court system. She is consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) of the Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She has been a member of several professional associations including those of the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for Children and Families policy and practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 56) Professor Goodman is also a member of Psychonomics Society, the American Professional Society for the Abuse of Children and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was the president of the The American Psychological Association's Developmental Division, Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Child and Family policy and practice.
